We have one Car Park (Blue) and three Camping areas, Pink, Green and Blue.

  • Car Park - Blue - Car Parking & Forest Camping
    • Access 9 - 5, Every day
    • Blue permit required - Park your vehicle in the Blue Car Park and be bussed to Blue Forest Camping

  • Camping - Pink - Camp with vehicle (for campers who want to come and go) - COME AND GO
    * The top plains of the festival are available for camping with your vehicles. Great spots exist along the lagoon, old water course and for your own creative spaces which are limitless. All that you see in this area is available for camping, but don’t head too far down the lagoon or you will head into sheep country. Camping too far away also breaches our fire safety guidelines.

Please do not camp more than 50m past the last water delivery point.

Access 9 - 5, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday
    • Pink permit required - This is the come-and-go camping areas.
At 5pm each festival night, the welcome gate will be locked and chain barrier at Tony’s Tip gate will be erected, to be reopened at 9am the following morning.
  • Camping - Green - Camp with vehicle - (Arrive before 1700THU Cannot Move till 1200TUE - STAY PUT
    • Gypsy village, market, fire twirling, information, first aid and fire.
    • Stay Put camping is through the cattle gate next to the market and fire twirling space.  It is in the centre of the festival and fills up quickly.  This is the heart of the Gypsy village and you are allowed to bring in your vehicle.  Camping Trailers  can be driven through where we would appreciate yoru co-operation and drive your vehicle out to the Blue car Park to help keep the number of cars to a minimum.
      • Must be in by 5pm Thursday
      • Cannot leave till after midday Tuesday.
      • People with vehicle permits for Stay-Put who arrive after this time can camp in the Come and Go camping area.
      • Do Not Pick Green if you intend to camp in the blue forest and leave your car in Green. This is frowned upon and unfair to those who are doing the right thing
  • Camping - Blue -  No Vehicle camping (forested areas)
    • To access car free, park in the CAR PARK and CARRY YOUR GEAR through the cattle gate entrance and into the festival.  Trolleys are available to help and also a shuttle bus runs from the car park to Arts, Tranquillity and Family.  Unload your gear in the loading bays, park your car and wait for the ConFest Express.  Each year, interesting and creative trollies are built and created by those in car free, why not create your own unique transport system to carry your gear.
    • Please note you cannot drive into the Vehicle Free to drop your gear off - make use of the yellow car park and bus with trailer
    • No Vehicles Allowed - Park your Car in Blue Car parking and be bussed to Blue Vehicle Free Camping. Please do not park in Green or Pink
Car free camping exists for many reasons including:
      • Caring for our Land – driving on the lower flood plain compacts the soil, restricts natural regrowth, creates ruts and reduces tree root vitality.
      • Safety – Areas which are free of vehicles are safer for everyone especially children. It also ensures the narrower tracks on the flood plain remain free from vehicles in the event that a fire truck or ambulance requires access.
      • Atmosphere – Not everyone has a vehicle and not everyone wants to be surrounded by the modern world when camping at ConFest. Providing areas for vehicle free camping is attractive for many people and spaces including Tranquillity, Family and Arts.
      • Dust – It can get hot and dusty at ConFest. No vehicles means less dust.
      • Waste Reduction – Why bring what you cannot carry? And please take it all back home.

Vehicle permits are available through the online ticketing system and cost $10 where ever you leave your vehicle.

DRIVE CLOCKWISE through the festival site.

SHUTTLE BUS

Park in Yellow car park and catch the shuttle bus service which operates every day.

The Yellow car park bus stop is located at the northernmost end of the car park.

Up to three shuttle buses each with tandem trailers will operate at peak demand.

A minimum of one shuttle bus will operate at other times.

The shuttle bus loops the festival site around the perimeter of the forested areas without entering any forested areas.

 * Improvements this year
           - The busses will not carry people or their gear through the forest.
           - We have extra busses
           - The circuit is quicker - people will, be moved out of the car park much quicker

Timetable
 * 9 - 5, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday

** In peak times due to high volume of people, wait times can be longer for the bus
