General Information
The venue is a private property close to Adelaide on the beautiful Murray River, between Swan Reach and Walker Flat. Pilwarren is set in bushland and has room for hundreds of people. You can hire a cabin, sleep in your own van or put up a tent.
There is an excellent kitchen where we will team up to cook delicious vegetarian meals. We have hot showers and flushing toilets (yes, it's ConFest with a modern touch!)
The atmosphere is open and friendly. Everyone at SA Confest is responsible for helping make others feel safe, welcome and included.
This event is clothing optional for those who wish to experience the natural freedom of their bodies in a safe and supportive space. Most people remain clothed as the focus of the weekend is not on nudity but on connecting, sharing, new experiences and personal growth. It is an opportunity to relax in nature, to connect and to participate in workshops.
No pets are allowed at Pilwarren. There is a separate camping area on the river, a six minute drive away for those who wish to bring pets. This area has no facilities (no toilets) and a fee of $6 per day is paid to Pilwarren for the use of their facilities in addition to the SA Confest entry fee.
Food
Bean dishes, rice and salads will be provided to add to the meals you cook. Barbecues and cooking facilities are available if you wish to prepare your own food, including meat.
What to bring
Everyone has the opportunity to get into the spirit of ConFest by bringing their own special gifts to share with the rest of us, such as running a workshop, musical instruments, pizza ingredients for the pizza oven, fire twirling, games or other entertainment.
Use your imagination and share your passions. Each Confest is different, depending on what participants contribute.

How to Get There
Travel from Adelaide to Mt Pleasant
At Mt Pleasant turn on to Walker Flat Road & travel approximately 42 km. Look out for the ConFest signs from Murraylands Road onwards. Turn left onto Murraylands Road. The Marne River concrete causeway is 8 km along Murraylands Road. Another 6 km past the causeway is the first right turn, which is Sunnydale Road. 4 km along Sunnydale Road, turn right onto Christian Road. 1 km along Christian Road turn left on to Simpson Road. Travel 3 km along until the end of the road. On the right is Pilwarren (SA ConFest site).
We suggest first time visitors arrive before dark, as it is much easier to find in daylight. Be careful of kangaroos & wombats on the road, particularly at dawn, dusk and night.
We are a non-profit organisation.
THE ABUSE OF DRUGS AND ALCOHOL IS NOT WELCOME.
CAMERAS AND MOBILE PHONES ARE NOT ALLOWED TO BE USED AT PILWARREN. Phones can be used on the road a short walk away.
