Organic music at Confest is the much loved drumming, acoustic instruments and most musical instruments that do not require amplification. The drummers appear to be highly respected due to a single fact. And that is that they have a self imposed curfew at night. So people who wish to sleep at night can do so if possible? Although stick drumming is not allowed at Confest all other forms of hand drumming is highly encouraged. It is almost the heart beat of Confest. Confesters love organic music!

The first time I went to ConFest in 2006, we had a stick drummer with a full on kit playing in the market area on New Years Eve. He was pretty good as well. _________________ "Fear wraps our bodies in clothing, love allows us to stand naked" - Neale Donald Walsch ("Conversations With God") |

I remember the stick drummer playing the full kit at the Gulpa Creek New Years Eve party in the area next to the beach and arts village. I thought it was great and really added to the vibrancy of the night. In the last ten years I feel it was the best party. Cheers, Bruce. |
